Best Mazes
Here is the list of some of the best mazes for Desktop Tower Defense, basically I love these mazes as they have helped me a lot when I started playing Desktop Tower Defense at first…..so here you go with the list have fun enjoy it..
1. Spiral Maze - This is one of my favorite ones, I have been using it for long time now, here is the basic structure all you gotta do is build some other towers in the center and upgrade them as you go.
2. Mutant Maze - This is another favorite of mine, first of all you gotta create the maze with cheap Pellet Towers, but as you go on you can build the other towers, and upgrade them also, here is the basic picture of course you wont start it this way because you wont have that much cash but this is the basic layout of the maze how it should look like, where you see Bash Towers, you will have Pellet Towers at first and then you will create Bash Towers as the game continues and you get cash.
3. Juggler’s Maze - This maze is amazing but you gotta juggle around at the end if you want to win the game with 20 lives left, otherwise this maze totally rocks, you can win without any juggling but you will lose a life or 2 in process maybe a boss or 2 will get away, if you do not juggle otherwise a perfect maze. To end just like all the other mazes, you cannot start the game like this in hard mode, this picture gives you a basic idea how the maze looks like and what towers are built, you sure gotta upgrade the towers as the game goes on, else you will be dead in no time..so DO UPGRADE them and start with Pellet Tower at first..
4. Diagonal Maze - This is a basic maze but requires some juggling to win even in Normal mode, I like this one because of its simplicity and it kinda looks fancy to have diagonal maze, I highly recommend you read Tower Movement Guide before you use any of these mazes because you should know how towers work and how to kill a creep very fast because this game requires lots of non stop action if you just build your tower and leave it, that wont do any good in fact you will lose even with the best maze so make sure you read the guide.

I just finished the “hard†level with 6280 points and two health to spare. Actually I got a lot of help from a coworker that was using this basic map that fills up the top left corner, and alternates squirt towers with the plus towers. I pretty much stick with that and put some anti-air ones in the middle. The dart tower and the line going up the right side came about when I got desperate on the final levels.
All I’m really doing is building one squirt tower and upgrading it to the max before the next one. It’s pretty important to build one at the left and then work from the middle towards the upper left so you are covering the center area for when the planes fly over.
Then in between the squirt towers, lay down the “plus†towers to fortify them.
Still just barely finishing the last few levels, especially the two planes that fly over. I think doing better on hard will just mean honing a build order on this map. Thanks for all your tips.

I have been playing the game for very long time, let me tell you 1 thing, the game is super addictive so if you are a starter I would recommend that you better watch out, as it can get really hard to stop playing it. I myself had very hard time trying to stop playing that game.. anyways thats a whole different story I just wanted to tell ya my experience with the game before i can give ya some tips…
First of all, know all the towers, because after playing it for a long time i have found out that some towers are rather useless i mean you dont even need to build some of them specially snap tower and ink tower to be honest. So know your towers as it will help you.
Secondly, learn all the shortcuts on keyboard that way you can be fast and you wont have to use the mouse to move all around it will save you a lot of time… so learn the shortcuts.
3rdly, learn a very good maze.. with that i mean, play for a while maybe in easy mode and come up with your own maze or indeed play fun mode with 10k and build up mazes that way you will learn how you can create mazes.
4th, always upgrade your towers, as the game progresses keep uupgrading your towers, 1 tip ” Squirt Towers are very powerful” so always have them around..as they basically kill everything real fast and they attack both air and ground.
5th If you want full details about Towers, about game, and a lot of other tips and i myself learned a lot of stuff from a very good player of DTD myself you can visit his blog and read a whole BLOG all about Desktop Tower Defense Strategy, you can basically get inside the brain of the game and learn all tips and tricks.. here is the site and i basically gave some tips from there.. In most TD games I try to get both spawns to come down the same path. In this game I led them both to the top left corner. then made the path wind in small “S” curves, maybe 4 or 5 towers long. I upgrade towers that are able to hit both sides early on then work my way out.
Air: I have 2 to start off and place them near the middle because if i recall they have decent range. Normal arrow Towers can take a good amount out. These guys are the hardest part fo the game in my opinion.
Once I get the maze going and Im not worried abotu leaking I will replace towers with a couple freeze towers near where both spawns merge. I will also put one in the middle of a path so it is able to freeze/slow the spawns on both sides.
I find that if you have about.. 8-9 squirts all in the middle of the board, they can easily take out the flying, even the flying bosses. If you aren’t confident, add ONE swarm tower, and upgrade fully. Remember, with towers it counts more with quality than quantity.
Also, when sending levels early, try and send them between 10-15 seconds early. That way, you have a constant line of creeps entering your maze. But, make sure your squirts have dealt with the spawn creeps before sending in the flying wave. Otherwise, you’ll likely get over run. And, send in the first few waves of the game in one go, it gives you instant bonus points.

As you can see, some have a swarm tower to help, the rest only use squirts. (ignore the one with sniper towers - it failed.)
If you follow these, then you can get 6500+ everytime. Hope this helps you. Now i just need to get good enough to beat 7000 =D
